Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actor and producer. She is acclaimed for her acting and as one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. She also serves as an ambassador for several brands and is the owner of her own line of clothing that is marketed to women, known as Nush. Forbes Magazine featured her. Anushka Sharma born 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka Sharma's father was a retired colonel. Her mother is the household worker. Her elder brother Karnesh Sharma was in the Merchant Navy and now is an independent film maker. Anushka completed her education at Army School in Bangalore, followed by an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka Sharma is a Master in Arts with a major in economics. Anushka did not want to acting, but was more interested in becoming she was interested in becoming a model or reporter. Anushka moved to Mumbai following her graduation and was enrolled at Elite Model Management, and was coached by the fashion consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a fashion model came in 2017 after she modelled with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was picked by Rodricks for a role in his Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has participated in a variety of brand-related campaigns since her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began giving film auditions in addition to her modeling. Anushka made her debut as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the film, starring Shah Rukh Khan. As a screen test for her, she refused to do an unplanned test and instead took a day to prepare herself. Then, she signed on for three films with Yash Raj Films. She played the young wife of an older man in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film was met with mixed praise. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat,' where she played a Punjabi middle class woman who launched her own venture. The movie received a great reception and became a sleeper. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
